November

November has been a busy and exciting month for us! We found out that we are having another baby GIRL, we've had a few family visits, Lee surprised me and took me to the Iron Bowl for my birthday, we went on our annual tree hunt, the contractors started clearing our lot for the new house this Saturday, and of course we celebrated Thanksgiving...with Wawa in tow :). That's right, we busted her out of the nursing home and had a wonderful time with her at Robyn's.

Lots of stuff going on and lots to be thankful for. My sister in law, Jessica, is pregnant, too, and we are due 3 weeks apart. I am so so excited about that! She already has 2 girls and will find out what she's having in about 3 weeks.

As far as a name, we think we have solidified one, but still aren't 1,000% sure yet. Lee has to be the pickiest person when it comes to names. He never adds to the selection, he just vetoes everything! But hopefully this one is a keeper. He loves it and so do I. We shall see!

I enjoyed decorating for Christmas with the kids this year. They loved it. We still havent finished the tree yet, but we got a good jump on it. Everything is so much more fun experiencing it through your kids eyes. It helps that I'm not sick all day long anymore. Just constantly out of breath and exhausted.

Greer has now entered the stage of wanting to wear a bow!! It's hilarious. She is still practically bald, but we manage to scrounge up enough hair to make it work. She looks so grownie :(. I love watching her and Knox play. They are truly best friends (right now, at least). They want to be with each other all the time and they laugh so much at each other. It's awesome. We definitely have days where we don't want to share, but for the most part, they are obsessed with each other.

We had family over after our gender appt to reveal the sex of the baby. I made them guess what they thought it was going to be with either pink lips or a mustache, and then we did the whole let the kids open the box with pink balloons inside thing. My family is very excited to add another girl...especially my mom and sister. They are excited about another Robyn/Regan sister combo. Do they not remember all the girl fights we had growing up?? :). My kids loved going to the appt and seeing the baby on the screen. Knox has asked to hold it every day. He's got a few more months to go!

I am updating this from my phone, so I will just post all the pics now. I'm sure they will be out of order :). This is a new phone, so I don't have many pictures. I did take a panoramic picture in the stadium that turned out pretty cool. Lee has to show me everything on this phone. Oh, technology! I can't keep up with you!

Quick Update

This week hits the 14th week of pregnancy for me. Whew. Definitely the hardest pregnancy by far. I've been to the ER twice with this one, and have had multiple bags of fluid. I have tried everything under the sun for relief, and I've even been sporting around trusty nausea bands for the past 2 months. Very appealing, let me tell ya. I'm finally coming out of the haze. I can't explain how dark and yucky it's been. I know that it's a blessing to be able to have babies. I know. But man, I think that I am done-zo in the pregnancy department. I can't imagine going through it again. I'm definitely not 100%, but I'm not crying everyday either...so that's a plus!
We found out this month that Greer is allergic to amoxicillin. She has taken it 50 times in her life, but she had an extreme breakout that put HER in the ER a few weeks ago, so that was some surprising news. Poor baby looked pitiful. The pics I took are when it first started. It got wayyyyy worse. Very sad.
I got to go to Birmingham for the weekend with 3 of my best friends. It was awesome!!! We shopped til we dropped and laughed until we cried. Hilarious. We made some awesome memories and it was a very sweet time together. Misty and Cathie don't live in Fairhope anymore, so I don't get to see them as often as I'd like. We went and sang karaoke...something way outside our comfort zone...and we have stories for a lifetime with that experience!
I tried to do a little pumpkin painting with my 2 favorite pumpkins. The eldest loved it and painted on the actual pumpkin. The youngest just painted herself :).
I took my precious little guy to play at kangaroos the other day. He jumped and went wild while I just sat back and watched. I remember the days when I had to help him with everything, and now he climbs to the top of every slide and jumpy with no fear. His laughter was contagious and it made me smile so much to just sit back and listen to him. He has such a sweet heart and a sweet spirit. He's very very loving and affectionate. I don't think I could have special ordered a better son for Us. He's incredible.
G-girl is running things around here and keeping us on our toes! Naturally. Feel free to pray for baby #3...we are a little nervous to see how she is going to treat it. :)
And lastly...T-16 hours until we take our little Mickey and Minnie on vacation!!! I can't believe it. I haven't been to Disney World since I was 8 years old. Everyone has been so sweet to give us tips and advice and we are so so super pumped. The kids are going to freak out- I am most excited about seeing their reaction to everything. My sister and her family will be down there as well, so I'm sure good times will be had! Now...if someone would just come on over and finish packing for me, that would be a huge help...

P.S.- blogging from my phone and the pictures are all out of order. Sorry!

3 months later...

We are still alive. I know. 3 months. It's really ridiculous. I really just haven't had time (or discipline or desire) to sit and update. I'd much rather read everyone else's updates. But we have had a lot going on lately. A lot. And I have already forgotten half of all the details of everything! I should probably do a better job of keeping a record of all of it...

Knox turned 3 in July, we took a vacation, Lee got a new job, I went to Honduras on my first mission trip and it was life changing, it looks like we are about to embark on a journey of building a house, Knox started pre-K 3, Greer started MDO, just to name a few things. I hope to one day sit down and post about each of the above with pictures included. "Hope" is the key word.
And lastly- probably our biggest happening around here lately- Greer is going to be a big sista! What the what?! I know. It's crazy. And yes, people, we know where babies come from. It wasn't planned, and there have been some overwhelming tears around this house, but I'm choosing to believe God for His word and His truth... that his timing and his ways are so much higher than ours, and that He is holding our family in the palm of His hand. So...ready or not, here it comes! April 27th is the due date! Only about 7 weeks along, and we Heard the sweet heartbeat yesterday. Please keep us in your prayers as we continue to expand this wild family :).
Looks like we might be trying to give the Duggars a run for their money...

Busy

Life around here has been a tad bit busy...and not all with good things, unfortunately. My grandmother, Wawa, fell and broke her hip a few weeks ago. I have to tell you, everything has been a downward spiral since. She now lives in an assisted living facility, has minimal memory, and cannot walk by herself. I still can't even believe that I just typed that. My grandmother (who pretty much raised me), the most independent woman on the planet, is now fully dependent on someone else to walk, bathe her, dress her, etc. I can't imagine how she must feel. One minute she is walking around her house, and the next minute she is being uprooted from her home, by ambulance, never to return again. How is that possible? To say she is not happy with the situation is an understatement. We are trying to have someone with her visiting as much as possible, but that's nearly impossible to do. My sister is going out there 2 times a day, my poor mother is dragging her self around all hours to be there for her-let's not forget about her back surgery, my dad visits once a day, and I try to make it out there about 3 or 4 times a week...but I can never stay too long since I have small ones trying to jump in her bed with her and run up and down the hallways. The last time I took the babies, she barely recognized them. I almost had to pick myself up off the floor when I had to tell her what their names were...

Anyways, if you think about us, please pray for Wawa. Pray for comfort and healing, and that she would completely trust the Lord with her life. She is just like a mother to me, so this has been very challenging to watch.

Lee is in the middle of some international travel, and this time of year is never really fun for me. Always sad to see him go...we miss daddy very much while he is gone. We are trying to get in as much family time as possible and we have been beachin' it, boatin' it, hot air balloon festival'n it as much as possible. I have a few pictures that I need to unload on here, so I will do that in a minute.

I have some other news...I am going to HONDURAS in August with my church, and I could not be more excited about it. I have never really been on a mission trip before besides Summer Beach Project, and I am so pumped that I can barely stand it. I can't wait to go and share the good news of Christ with those who have never heard about him. I can't wait to go and love on and play with  kids who have the bare minimum. I can't wait to go and experience Him in a deeper way. I just can't wait!

Knox and Campbell

Lee got me a play set for Mother's Day, and this little girl will climb to the top in about 2 seconds flat.

She laid on her back and whirled in a circle the entire time we were in the Jacuzzi

Knox took this picture. Not too shabby. No heads cut off.

 Winks from Destin!

 Anyone need a maid?

No question about it: definitely a daddy's girl.

Tractor riding at the Hot Air Balloon Festival

"Little" girl was making sure that they knew where to bring our food

And she kept eyeing the waiter...

And rejoiced when she saw him coming our way

Sweaty from all the rides at Pier Park!

Daddy's got some cold chocolate coming her way

 Ice-Cream face!!!

"I like big butts and I cannot lie..."

Strolling along the golf courses in Destin

 My little pilot!

That's about it for now. Not too much of an update. Hopefully I will be back soon. Please keep my sweet Wawa and family in your prayers!
