We are still alive. I know. 3 months. It's really ridiculous. I really just haven't had time (or discipline or desire) to sit and update. I'd much rather read everyone else's updates. But we have had a lot going on lately. A lot. And I have already forgotten half of all the details of everything! I should probably do a better job of keeping a record of all of it...
Knox turned 3 in July, we took a vacation, Lee got a new job, I went to Honduras on my first mission trip and it was life changing, it looks like we are about to embark on a journey of building a house, Knox started pre-K 3, Greer started MDO, just to name a few things. I hope to one day sit down and post about each of the above with pictures included. "Hope" is the key word.
And lastly- probably our biggest happening around here lately- Greer is going to be a big sista! What the what?! I know. It's crazy. And yes, people, we know where babies come from. It wasn't planned, and there have been some overwhelming tears around this house, but I'm choosing to believe God for His word and His truth... that his timing and his ways are so much higher than ours, and that He is holding our family in the palm of His hand. So...ready or not, here it comes! April 27th is the due date! Only about 7 weeks along, and we Heard the sweet heartbeat yesterday. Please keep us in your prayers as we continue to expand this wild family :).
Looks like we might be trying to give the Duggars a run for their money...
I remember a few anxious tears when you found out you were pregnant with Greer too. Now you couldn't imagine your life, home, or family any other way. Any person that is not a little nervous about being responsible for another life, has no business being a parent, period!
ReplyDeleteYou are just one of those women that God intended to be a mother and work with children. It is the most important job and blessing on earth. I have no doubt that you will add to and take of that sweet family of yours with all the humble humor, grace, and love that God has gifted you with. Love you, sweetie! -Jeannie
WOW!! 3 little Lawsons...unreal!! No wonder you haven't had time to blog - you and Lee have been busy :) Seriously - congrats!!! The world will be a better place the more you guys populate it. Have one for me too :)
ReplyDeleteSO exciting, Regan!! That is the sweetest news and we're so happy for your growing family. Greer will be an awesome big sister for new baby Lawson. Thankful for an update on y'all-how is your Grandmother? Hope to see all of you at some point before your kids are all grown up! Love and miss you!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Regan! You guys have had a busy summer! I can't wait to see how pregnancy goes and share in the laughs (and cries) of having 3 kids!
