We are still alive. I know. 3 months. It's really ridiculous. I really just haven't had time (or discipline or desire) to sit and update. I'd much rather read everyone else's updates. But we have had a lot going on lately. A lot. And I have already forgotten half of all the details of everything! I should probably do a better job of keeping a record of all of it...
Knox turned 3 in July, we took a vacation, Lee got a new job, I went to Honduras on my first mission trip and it was life changing, it looks like we are about to embark on a journey of building a house, Knox started pre-K 3, Greer started MDO, just to name a few things. I hope to one day sit down and post about each of the above with pictures included. "Hope" is the key word.
And lastly- probably our biggest happening around here lately- Greer is going to be a big sista! What the what?! I know. It's crazy. And yes, people, we know where babies come from. It wasn't planned, and there have been some overwhelming tears around this house, but I'm choosing to believe God for His word and His truth... that his timing and his ways are so much higher than ours, and that He is holding our family in the palm of His hand. So...ready or not, here it comes! April 27th is the due date! Only about 7 weeks along, and we Heard the sweet heartbeat yesterday. Please keep us in your prayers as we continue to expand this wild family :).
Looks like we might be trying to give the Duggars a run for their money...

Busy
Life around here has been a tad bit busy...and not all with good things, unfortunately. My grandmother, Wawa, fell and broke her hip a few weeks ago. I have to tell you, everything has been a downward spiral since. She now lives in an assisted living facility, has minimal memory, and cannot walk by herself. I still can't even believe that I just typed that. My grandmother (who pretty much raised me), the most independent woman on the planet, is now fully dependent on someone else to walk, bathe her, dress her, etc. I can't imagine how she must feel. One minute she is walking around her house, and the next minute she is being uprooted from her home, by ambulance, never to return again. How is that possible? To say she is not happy with the situation is an understatement. We are trying to have someone with her visiting as much as possible, but that's nearly impossible to do. My sister is going out there 2 times a day, my poor mother is dragging her self around all hours to be there for her-let's not forget about her back surgery, my dad visits once a day, and I try to make it out there about 3 or 4 times a week...but I can never stay too long since I have small ones trying to jump in her bed with her and run up and down the hallways. The last time I took the babies, she barely recognized them. I almost had to pick myself up off the floor when I had to tell her what their names were...
Anyways, if you think about us, please pray for Wawa. Pray for comfort and healing, and that she would completely trust the Lord with her life. She is just like a mother to me, so this has been very challenging to watch.
Lee is in the middle of some international travel, and this time of year is never really fun for me. Always sad to see him go...we miss daddy very much while he is gone. We are trying to get in as much family time as possible and we have been beachin' it, boatin' it, hot air balloon festival'n it as much as possible. I have a few pictures that I need to unload on here, so I will do that in a minute.
I have some other news...I am going to HONDURAS in August with my church, and I could not be more excited about it. I have never really been on a mission trip before besides Summer Beach Project, and I am so pumped that I can barely stand it. I can't wait to go and share the good news of Christ with those who have never heard about him. I can't wait to go and love on and play with kids who have the bare minimum. I can't wait to go and experience Him in a deeper way. I just can't wait!

Knox and Campbell
Lee got me a play set for Mother's Day, and this little girl will climb to the top in about 2 seconds flat.
She laid on her back and whirled in a circle the entire time we were in the Jacuzzi
Knox took this picture. Not too shabby. No heads cut off.
Winks from Destin!
Anyone need a maid?
No question about it: definitely a daddy's girl.
Tractor riding at the Hot Air Balloon Festival
"Little" girl was making sure that they knew where to bring our food
And she kept eyeing the waiter...
And rejoiced when she saw him coming our way
Sweaty from all the rides at Pier Park!
Daddy's got some cold chocolate coming her way
Ice-Cream face!!!
"I like big butts and I cannot lie..."
Strolling along the golf courses in Destin
My little pilot!
That's about it for now. Not too much of an update. Hopefully I will be back soon. Please keep my sweet Wawa and family in your prayers!

Utah - 2012
I'm a little behind, but back in March the boys and I got the chance to go to Utah with the Creels and the Andersons. It was incredible. I have never really skied too much, so I was a little nervous about it, but by the end of the trip we were going down Blacks. It was insane. We would start to go down a slope, and then half way down Teal and Ryan would talk us in to going off in to the woods and jumping over things and flying past the beautiful trees. I loved every second of it. Well, I actually hated looking down the steep hills from the top of the mountain and was about to vomit every time I saw what I was about to do, but the adrenaline was awesome so that made up for the fear. It was so fun, and a great workout.
Knox had an awesome time, too. It was his first time to fly in a plane and he absolutely loved it. We traveled with 6 kids, 3 of them being 2 years old. All of them being under 7 years old. We were actually surprised at how well they all did. Knox and Trotter even napped on the plane, so that helped out a ton. We took Teal and Hagan's cousin with us as a babysitter, so she was a huge help, and that allowed us to ski all day long and and also freed us up to have a kid-free dinner. The other nights we all cooked and hung out at the cabin and played games. The ski lift was like 100 yards from our front door, so that was extremely convenient. The little kids even got to ski for about an hour...and then we took them snow tubing 1 night. We all tied up to each other with our tubes and got flung down the huge hill. SO fun!
We had a blast and laughed A LOT the entire trip. I am so grateful for the invite, and for Teal and Ryan planning this trip and working out all the details. It was such a beautiful place and I was overwhelmed by the beauty of all the snow and mountains. So thankful that we were able to experience a trip like this...it was such a blessing. I never really got to take trips like this when I was younger, so I am more than thankful that we are able to take some now.
Here are the pics - They are all from my phone. No way I was toting that huge camera around while we were on the slopes!
We MIGHT have had some heated friendly girls vs. boys competition of Catch Phrase. Do I even have to tell you who team 1 was? Girls rule, boys drool.
